Hoover Creek has hosted several major events in recent years, including the RACK Focus video school during the '07 Spring Turkey season. Autumn Swearingen from Illinois shows off the fruits of her hard work in the photo below. Congrats to Autumn and all the video school graduates!
Another exciting event was the harvesting of a nice P&Y 8-point buck on September 22, '07. Our hunters were with Gene Pearcy Outdoors' On the Right Track Television show. See them at www.ontherighttracktv.com Despite the hot weather, these boys prevailed and brought home a nice buck at 8 yards and captured the whole hunt on film.
October of '07 continued to be unseasonably hot, but that didn't seem to bother our guests from Alabama!! Congrats to T. Porco on his nice gobbler and a cooler full of venison headed for the freezer.....
 
A buck we had been watching during the summer of '07 finally met his match when one of the neighbors arrowed him that fall. Great deer Nelson!!!
